About 100 meters from the waterfront in Nordhavn you’ll find ‘Friisland’ and during this year’s Kulturhavn Festival you can join the opening event for the brand new project space when the Virtual Reality piece 'Toys of Joylessness or Disturbance & Debility' is premiering.
The Virtual Reality piece is created by artist Otmar Wager who is preoccupied with water and the ocean as prominent metaphors in his work. The artist will present the piece under his performance alter-ego: The Priest of Paranormal Phenomena.
The Virtual Reality Piece is open to the public from 12-16 all three days at Kulturhavn, so you can stop by anytime during the weekend and experience the Friisland Project Space, which has been converted into an impressive installation supported by the Virtual Reality goggles, showing the same space but also relaying the music performance by Wagner.
After the opening event you’ll be able to experience the piece three weeks in september. You can read more about this at: https://www.friisland.dk/.
TOYS OF JOYLESSNESS or DISTURBANCE & DEBILITY is supported by The Austrian Embassy og Statens Kunstfond.
